Band Biography
Founded in 2006 as LabAnimals and later renamed to The Silverlab Animals in 2011, the band is made up of musicians from varying backgrounds and ages with members who have experienced music across the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, as well as beyond the noughties.
The initial name was coined in relation to the day jobs of most of its members being scientific researchers who spent most of their time in laboratories. The word "Silver" was prepended later, representing the name of the office room space used for their weekly jam sessions.
